With that said, intermediate readers often enjoy that kind of stortytelling. It struggles a bit from being a little too much more of the same, coming across as a bit formulaic. This was an interesting addition to the Treasure Hunters series. the real question is whether they can find the city in time. They have every intention of turning over the gold found in Paititi to the Peruvian government in order for it to help purchase land to protect the region's rainforests. The book takes on an interesting twist as readers learn more about the ultimate goals of the family Kidd for this mission. The twins Bick and Beck take readers through the story as each of the family members contributes in their own special way to solve the mystery and also avoid death from both the setting and the evil people out to get them. ![]() ![]() This time, they will find themselves drawn to Peru, where they will be challenged by most of their past nemeses as they search for the lost Incan city of Paititi. The Kidd family of treasure hunters are back for another adventure. ![]()
